ECW Press is a Canadian book publisher based in Toronto, Ontario. Founded in 1974 by Jack David and Robert Lecker, the company began as a literary magazine titled Essays on Canadian Writing. It expanded its operations to include the publication of trade and scholarly books in 1979.
