In this book, Hiroshi Sugimoto reveals for the first time the movies that were screened when he took these photographs and the exposure time of each. Sugimoto has written a short text about each film. Kerry Brougher, director of the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles, contributes an essay. For this limited edition, Sugimoto has printed 'Teatro dei Varii', Colle di Val d’Elsa, 2014, in an edition of twenty-five gelatin silver prints. Every print is signed by the artist. The book and print are housed in an aluminum box.
