William Ian Miller

William Ian Miller is the Thomas G. Long Professor of Law at the University of Michigan and an Honorary Professor of History at the University of St. Andrews. Born in 1946, he specializes in the sagas of medieval Iceland and has written extensively on the subjects of revenge and self-attentional emotions. He holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin, as well as a Ph.D. in English and a JD from Yale University.
