Thomas Sugrue

Thomas J. Sugrue is an American historian born in 1962, currently serving as a professor at New York University. His academic work focuses on 20th-century United States history, with specific expertise in urban development, political history, and race relations. Previously, he held the David Boies Professorship at the University of Pennsylvania and founded the Penn Social Science and Policy Forum.
