Thich Nhat Hanh
Thich Nhat Hanh (1926–2022) was a Vietnamese Thien Buddhist monk, peace activist, poet, and teacher. As the founder of the Plum Village Tradition, he is widely recognized for his role in establishing engaged Buddhism and is often referred to as the father of mindfulness. His extensive body of work and teachings served as a major influence on the development of Western Buddhist practices.
