Tai Chen

Tai Chen was a Qing dynasty scholar and philosopher from Xiuning, Anhui. A versatile polymath, he made significant contributions to the fields of mathematics, geography, and phonology. He is best known for his critical work on Neo-Confucianism and his role as an editor for the Siku Quanshu encyclopedia under the direction of Ji Yun.
