Swami Vivekananda

Swami Vivekananda was an Indian Hindu monk, philosopher, and the chief disciple of the mystic Ramakrishna. A prominent figure in the late 19th century, he played a key role in introducing Vedanta and Yoga to the Western world. Through his work as an author and orator, he is credited with raising interfaith awareness and establishing Hinduism as a major global religion.
