Sharon Lockhart

Sharon Lockhart is an American artist and filmmaker known for her long-term projects that explore social subjects through still photography and motion film. She holds a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute and an MFA from the Art Center College of Design. A recipient of Guggenheim, Radcliffe, and Rockefeller fellowships, she has exhibited her work globally and currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
