Rene Goscinny
René Goscinny (1926–1977) was a French comic editor and writer best known for creating the Asterix series alongside illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Polish-Jewish family, he spent his youth in Argentina and lived briefly in the United States, where he began a long-standing collaboration with cartoonist Morris on the Lucky Luke series. His extensive career spanned decades as an influential figure in the comic book industry.
