Ramsay Macmullen
Ramsay MacMullen (1928–2022) was an American historian and Emeritus Professor of History at Yale University. He served as the Dunham Professor of History and Classics, teaching at the institution from 1967 until his retirement in 1993. His academic work focused on the social history of Rome and the transition from paganism to Christianity in the ancient world.
