Palladio

Andrea Palladio was an Italian Renaissance architect active in the Venetian Republic. Influenced by the works of Vitruvius and classical Greek and Roman design, he is recognized for his villas and country houses. His architectural theories and principles were formally documented in his influential treatise, The Four Books of Architecture.
