Oscar Niemeyer

Oscar Niemeyer was a Brazilian architect and a central figure in the development of modern architecture. He is best known for designing the civic buildings of Brasília and collaborating on the United Nations headquarters in New York. His pioneering work exploring the aesthetic possibilities of reinforced concrete remained highly influential throughout the late 20th and early 21st centuries.
