Max Evans
Max Evans was an American author whose career spanned sixty years and included more than 27 works of fiction and nonfiction. Best known for his Western writing, he published his first novel, The Rounders, in 1960 and his final book, The King of Taos, in 2020. His work includes The Hi-Lo Country, and he was inducted into the Western Writers of America Hall of Fame in 2015.
