Ludmila Ulitskaya

Ludmila Ulitskaya is a Russian novelist and short-story writer born in 1943. Her extensive body of work includes the 2006 novel Daniel Stein, Interpreter, which explores themes of reconciliation between major religions. Recognized internationally for her literary contributions, she was awarded the Austrian State Prize for European Literature in 2014 and the Park Kyong-ni Prize in 2012.
