Lindsey Hughes

Lindsey Hughes was a British historian specializing in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Russia. Her scholarly work focused extensively on the reign of Peter the Great, including biographies of the Tsar and his predecessor, Sophia Alekseyevna. In addition to her historical research, she was a prolific writer on the subject of art history.
