Julie Ault
Julie Ault is an American artist, curator, and editor born in 1957. She cofounded Group Material, a New York-based collaborative that produced over fifty exhibitions exploring the intersection of politics and aesthetics. In 2018, she received a MacArthur Fellowship for her work in blending artistic, curatorial, and activist practices to redefine the role of the artist in cultural production.
