John Hilliard
John Hilliard is an English conceptual artist whose work examines the specificity of photography as a medium. His practice explores the uncertainty of photography as a representational device and its complex status in relation to painting, cinema, and commercial photography. Hilliard is also recognized for his contributions as a visual artist, television producer, and university teacher.
