James Traub

James Traub is an American journalist and a contributing writer for The New York Times Magazine, a role he has held since 1998. Previously a staff writer for The New Yorker, he has also contributed to publications including The Atlantic Monthly, Foreign Affairs, and The New York Review of Books. He currently serves as a senior fellow at the Center on International Cooperation and teaches at New York University.
