James Rosenquist

James Rosenquist was an American artist and a key figure in the pop art movement. Drawing on his professional background in sign painting, he utilized commercial techniques to incorporate fragments of advertisements and cultural imagery into his work. His unique approach often employed elements of surrealism to explore the impact of consumer culture and advertising on society. He was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2001.
