Honoree Fanonne Jeffers
Honorée Fanonne Jeffers is an American poet, novelist, and professor of English at the University of Oklahoma. She has authored five poetry collections, including the award-winning The Age of Phillis, and the 2021 debut novel The Love Songs of W.E.B. Du Bois. Her work frequently incorporates extensive archival research to explore historical narratives and the experiences of Black Americans.
