Henry Lawson

Henry Archibald Hertzberg Lawson (1867–1922) was an Australian writer, journalist, and bush poet. Often recognized as one of the most prominent figures of the colonial period, he is frequently cited as Australia's greatest short story writer. His work, which includes pieces such as Andy's Gone With Cattle, captures the landscape and social conditions of the era alongside his contemporary, Banjo Paterson.
