Gregory Maguire

Gregory Maguire is an American novelist born in 1954. He has authored several dozen books for adults and children, including his 1978 debut The Lightning Time and the 1995 novel Wicked. Many of his adult works are inspired by classic children's stories, and his novel Wicked served as the basis for a Broadway musical and a subsequent two-part film series.
