Doris Schattschneider

Doris J. Schattschneider is an American mathematician and retired professor at Moravian College. She is recognized for her scholarship on tessellations and the art of M. C. Escher. Additionally, she played a key role in validating the pentagon tiling discoveries of Marjorie Rice and co-directed the project that developed The Geometer's Sketchpad.
