David Thomson

David Thomson (1914–1988) was a writer and BBC producer recognized for his radio documentaries, novels, memoirs, and children's books. A scholar and later Master of Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge, he was also a historian specializing in the history of Britain and post-revolutionary France between 1815 and 1914. His academic work included notable contributions to the journal French Studies.
