David A. Kirby

David A. Kirby is a professor of science communication studies at Cal Poly University in San Luis Obispo. His research focuses on the history of science and the role of fictional narratives in the design process. He is widely recognized for his studies regarding the use of scientists as consultants for Hollywood film productions.
