Chris Dickey

Christopher Swift Dickey (1951–2020) was an American journalist, author, and news editor who served as the Paris-based world news editor for The Daily Beast. Throughout his career, he authored seven books, including the memoir Summer of Deliverance, which focused on his father, the writer James Dickey. His other notable works include Securing the City and Our Man in Charleston.
