Cees Nooteboom
Cees Nooteboom (1933–2026) was a Dutch novelist, poet, and journalist. He gained international recognition following the 1983 English-language publication of his novel Rituals, which received the Pegasus Prize. Throughout his career, his works were published by various houses, including Louisiana State University Press, Harcourt, and Grove Press.
