Bill Owens

Bill Owens is an American photographer, photojournalist, and brewer based in Hayward, California. He is widely recognized for his documentation of suburban domestic life in the East Bay, most notably featured in his 1973 book Suburbia. Throughout his career, Owens has been honored with a Guggenheim Fellowship and two National Endowment for the Arts grants for his contributions to photography.
